New type nozzle - ULTRA - 100° - precise fogging - droplet size 30 microns

A new high-quality Ultra fogging nozzle, low pressure, made of stainless steel SS 304 with a UNC 10/24 inch connection thread. For fogging systems. It features a larger spray angle, up to 100o with high-quality water mist production, droplet size is 30 microns at 5 bars (same effect as with high-pressure pumps at 70 bars).

APPLICATION:


The low-pressure fogging system for water cooling is an excellent solution for hot, dry days. It quickly humidifies the room without soaking it. Using it on terraces, gardens, patios, beer gardens, under umbrellas, etc., you can quickly provide a pleasant, cool breeze for yourself and your guests. It is also suitable for use in warehouses, vegetable stands for humidity regulation and water cooling. It can cool the environment by about 60 C.

The nozzles are chemically resistant, making them perfect for industrial applications: dust suppression, odor control, humidity regulation, disinfection in production halls, warehouses, in agriculture: animal husbandry, stables, barns, poultry farms, in snail production, mushroom farms, inhaled medication delivery, gastronomy, tourism. The nozzles should be installed at a distance of 0.8m to 1.15m apart. It is also possible to mount them on a fan or several fans simultaneously, which enhances the fogging, humidifying, and especially cooling effect in rooms and outdoor areas.

1. Nozzle hole size

  • Large hole: Produces larger droplets. Better for plant irrigation, dust reduction, or industrial applications where very fine mist is not required.

2. Material of construction

Material affects durability, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
  • Brass: Durable, corrosion-resistant, often used in standard applications.
  • Stainless steel: Durable, resistant to chemicals and high temperatures, suitable for demanding environments (e.g., in the food industry).
  • Plastic: Lightweight and economical, suitable for less demanding applications.

3. Mechanism of action

  • High-pressure nozzles: Produce a fine mist under high water or liquid pressure. Used in evaporative cooling, dust suppression systems, or disinfection.
  • Air-atomizing nozzles: Use compressed air to break the liquid into a fine mist. Used in industry, e.g., for spray painting or humidifying in production processes.

4. Liquid flow

  • Determines how much water or liquid flows through the nozzle in a specified time.
  • The choice depends on the demand – smaller flows are more effective for precise fogging, larger for more intensive applications like irrigation.

5. Spray angle

  • Nozzles have different spray angles, usually from 30° to 120°.
  • Narrow angle (e.g., 30°–60°): Better for precise spraying in a specific area, e.g., spot cooling or humidifying small surfaces.
  • Wide angle (90°–120°): Ideal for even coverage of larger areas, e.g., in dust suppression systems or decorative effects.
  • Choosing the angle affects the efficiency and coverage of the mist in a given application.

6. Type of generated mist

  • Ultrafine mist (e.g., droplets with a diameter <10 microns): For cooling, humidifying, dust suppression.
  • Coarser mist: For irrigation or chemical applications.

7. Additional features

  • Anti-drip: Prevents water from dripping after pressure is released.
  • Self-cleaning: Has a mechanism to prevent clogging of the holes.

8. Clogging resistance

  • Nozzles with internal filters: Protect against solid particles and clogging, which is crucial when using lower quality water.

  • Self-cleaning nozzles: Have a mechanism to prevent the opening from becoming blocked.
