Axial Exhaust Fan with Mesh - 400 mm
The axial exhaust fan is a type of fan that uses an axial blade arrangement to move air along the axis of rotation. It is primarily used to extract air from rooms or spaces. Unlike radial fans, which operate by pushing air outward, axial exhaust fans draw air inward and expel it outward.

HOW DOES THE AXIAL EXHAUST FAN WORK?
The axial exhaust fan works by moving air along the axis of rotation using a rotor with blades mounted on it. The main components of the axial fan are:
-
Rotor: This is the component that rotates around the axis. The rotor consists of blades that are arranged parallel to the axis of rotation.
-
Housing: The axial fan is housed in a casing that directs the airflow and stabilizes its movement. The housing is usually cylindrical or shaped like a helicopter blade to optimize airflow.
-
Motor: The motor is responsible for driving the rotor and enabling its rotation. Electric motors are typically used for axial fans.
-
Blades: These are the rotor components responsible for transferring mechanical energy from the motor to the air, causing its movement. The blades are designed to generate airflow along the axis of rotation.
When the fan is turned on, the motor drives the rotor, causing the blades to rotate. Due to the shape of the blades and the rotor's rotational speed, air is drawn along the axis into the housing, where it is then moved outward. In this way, the axial exhaust fan effectively extracts air from the rooms or spaces where it is installed.
FUNCTION AND STRENGTHS:
These fans are often used in places requiring high air flow capacity, such as in ventilation and air conditioning systems in large buildings, factories, tunnels, or production halls.
Their design allows for efficient movement of large volumes of air at relatively low operating costs. Axial fans can be mounted directly on walls or roofs of buildings or installed in ventilation ducts.
Thanks to the blade profile shaped like a sickle, Ferono fans have high air flow efficiency while maintaining minimal noise levels.
- The motor and fan blades are made of metal,
- The state-of-the-art fan shape allows for high performance at low noise levels,
- Double ball bearing extends the fan's lifespan,
- Electrical durability: 1500VAC/50-60Hz for 1 min with current leakage <5mA,
- Insulation resistance: 10 MOHM at 500V DC between wire and frame,
- High insulation class of copper wire: F,
- Operating temperature: -20 °C to 80 °C,
- Voltage: 230V/50Hz
- Protection class: IP44
