Armex 5 is a disinfectant product based on chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) produced in Poland by Mexeo. Due to the properties of chlorine dioxide, which is a gas, when you purchase Armex 5, you also buy the activator Mexacid. By combining these two products with water, you will obtain the most effective and extremely versatile disinfectant.

Compared to chlorine and ozone, chlorine dioxide is exceptionally effective in destroying a wide range of pathogens - bacteria, viruses, fungi, and molds - while maintaining safety and minimal risk of toxic residues.

  • Dosing chlorine dioxide into water:

    • disinfection of swimming pools - eliminates Legionella and other bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Staphylococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella typhimurium, S. enteridis, S. panama, S. cholerasuis) and others
  • Fogging:
    • disinfection of livestock rooms - chicken coops, barns
    • disinfection of vegetables and fruits
    • disinfection in mushroom farms
    • disinfection of snail farms
    • disinfection of air and rooms such as halls, social rooms, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, public transport vehicles

    • algae, including: Chlorella vulgaris, Chlorella pyrenoidosa, Scenedesmus obliquus, Phormidium unicatum.


HOW TO USE:

  1. Prepare the disinfecting solution by introducing into the tank of the sprayer/fogger with water: 1% of ARMEX 5 and 1% of MEXACID D.
  2. Use the obtained disinfecting solution for fogging, spraying, or wiping surfaces.
  3. In case of higher concentrations, in closed rooms, a full gas mask with ABEI filter (multi-gas) can be used.
  4. After disinfection, surfaces are safe for use without a waiting period.
  5. After disinfecting closed rooms, they should be ventilated within a few minutes and can be used immediately.

The virucidal activity of the working solution occurs immediately after preparation. The durability of the prepared working solution is 24 hours from preparation.

What are the differences between activators?
In our store, you will find several activators:
Mexacid X -
general use, but it can also be used for fogging, spraying, adding to a bucket with cleaning liquid to combine two tasks into one (cleaning and disinfection), immersing objects, disinfecting water systems, and treating drinking water (like chlorination). It requires up to 12 hours for full activation.

Mexacid D - this is a more refined version, newer, with an activator that activates within minutes. It is particularly suitable for fogging, spraying, cleaning, etc., for disinfecting public facilities, clinics, ambulances, gastronomy, hotels, cars, etc.

Is chlorine dioxide safe?

Why do I buy two products?
Chlorine dioxide is a gas that dissolves excellently in water. It is most effective within 24 hours of being combined with the activator and water. Therefore, we advise against buying ready-made liquids. Its preparation is easy and guarantees high product effectiveness. An additional advantage of its gaseous form is that it oxidizes quickly and leaves no trace, making it exceptionally safe for disinfecting toys.

Can I clean surfaces in my home with this?
Of course, just add it to water and then apply it with a cloth or spray bottle.

How efficient is this product?
